BCCI has revealed the squad of Team India for the remaining three matches of the India-England Test series. Virat Kohli is not in the team even for the upcoming three matches. Due to personal reasons, he will not play these three matches. Whereas Shreyas has not been included in the team due to being injured. At the same time, his test cricket form is also wavering.

Due to some personal reasons, Virat requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to be excluded from the squad for the first two Tests against England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reported Virat Kohli will continue to be unavailable for the rest of the series due to personal reasons. The Board fully respects and supports Mr. Virat Kohli’s decision.
“The BCCI respects his decision and the Board and team management has extended its support to the star batter and is confident in the abilities of the remaining squad members to step up and deliver commendable performances in the Test series.”
Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul’s participation depends on receiving fitness clearance from the BCCI medical team. Whether they will play or not is subject to the fitness clearance.
The upcoming two matches are scheduled to take place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot from February 15th to 19th, and at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi from February 23rd to 27th. The fifth match will be held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala from March 7th to 11th.
Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out
Shreyas Iyer was expected to be out from the remaining three Tests due to back stiffness and groin pain.
