Nepal U19 Innings

Opting to bat first, Nepal skipper Dev Khanal made a decent start against the Bangladesh bowling team. However, early setbacks with the dismissals of Bipin Rawal and Aakash Tripathi made it challenging for the Nepal team to accumulate runs. Bipin Rawal was dismissed by Maruf Mridha, while Iqbal Hossain Emmon removed Aakash Tripathi. Arjun Kumal, who played cautiously, also fell victim to Rohanat Doullah Borson.

Captain Dev Khanal and Bishal Bikram then built a crucial partnership, reconstructing the innings. Dev Khanal added 35 runs before being dismissed by Jishan Alam, and Bishal Bikram, despite playing superbly, fell just two runs short of a half-century, bowled out by Rohanat Doullah Borson. With the dismissal of these two set batsmen, the Nepal team encountered difficulty in scoring runs.

Subash Bhandari provided the finishing touches with 18 runs, pushing the total to 169/10. Rohanat Doullah Borson secured four wickets, while Sheikh Paevez Jibon claimed three wickets. Iqbal Hossain Emmon, Maruf Mridha, and Jishan Alam each took one wicket.
