Gautam Gambhir returns to Kolkata Knight Riders as a mentor ahead of IPL 2024. He quit as mentor of Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday, November 22. Earlier he served as mentor in Kolkata Knight Riders from 2011 – 2017, during that period, KKR won two titles.

On November 21 Gautam Gambhir left Lucknow Super Giants and returned to his old team Kolkata Knight Rider for the upcoming IPL season 2024. He has been associated with LSG since the team was formed under the leadership of KL Rahul in 2022.

Gambhir played a crucial role in the Lucknow Super Giants franchise, overseeing the team’s activities along with head coach Andy Flower, who resigned earlier in the year.

Gambhir, who led KKR to victory in 2012 and 2014, will be a mentor for the team and will closely collaborate with head coach Chandrakant Pandit.
