Chris Gayle and Jacques Kallis opened the match brilliantly for the Gujarat Giants. In early overs, they hit more boundaries. Jacques Kallis was unfortunately run out by Rahul Sharma. Chris Gayle played aggressively in the powerplay, putting pressure on Gujarat Giants. Rahul Sharma lbw to Gayle, he Score 52 runs off 27 balls including two(2) sixes and eight(8) fours.
But as overs passed on Bhilwara Kings bowlers created a strong impact on Gujrat Giants. After 10 overs Gujarat Giants scored 99/3.
Kevin O Brien and Parthiv Patel did not perform well with the bat. Rahul Sharma dismissed Kevin O Brien and scored only 11 runs. Parthiv Patel also lbw by Jesal Karia, he scored 8 runs.

Tillakaratne Dilshan and Solomon Mire start a run chase of 173 runs for Bhilwara Kings. But Rayad Emrit claimed the first wicket by dismissing Tillakaratne Dilshan. Again Rayad Emrit in his second over removed Solomon Mire. Bhilwara Kings made a decent start against Gujarat Giants’s pace bowlers. Bhilwara Kings lost two wickets in quick succession, which put them under too much pressure.
Lendl Simmons and Robin Bist both create a good partnership. Robin Bist scored 18 runs off 12 balls before getting out by Ladda. Pinal Shah also scored 16 runs from 12 balls, dismissed by Ishwar Chaudhary.

Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan could not give their best and both brothers are looking like not in form.
S Sreesanth dismissed Yusuf Pathan and R Bhatia removed Irfan Pathan.
