What is Legends League Cricket? Legends League Cricket is a T20 format cricket where retired cricket players were played. It was created by Raman Raheja and Vivek Khushalani. Ravi Shastri was the commissioner of LLC. Legends League Cricket 2023 is scheduled to run from November 18 to December 9, 2023.

Legends League Cricket 2023

Legends League Cricket has two types of formats, one is Masters tournament and the other is Franchise tournament. Masters tournament is playing for country and Franchise tournament is playing for clubs.

Masters Tournament (Legends League Cricket Masters)

It was played between three teams India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants.

First Season: The first Masters tournament was played in January 2022 at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat. It had three teams – India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants. The final match was held between World Giants and Asia Lions, where World Giants won the final.

Second Season: Second LLC masters was held in Doha, Qatar from 10 – 20 March 2023. Champions was Asia Lions (1st title) and the Runners-up was World Giants.

Franchise tournament (Legend League Cricket)

First Season: The first season was held from 17 September to 5 October 2022. Total four teams participated in the first season. The teams are India Capitals, Bhilwara Kings, Gujarat Giant, and Manipal Tigers.

The first match was played between India Capitals and Gujarat Giant on Sep 17, 2022, At Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The final match was won by India Capitals against Bhilwara Kings at Jaipur.

Second Season: Legend League Cricket’s second season is scheduled to run from November 18 to December 9, 2023. Two new teams joined the league like Southern Super Stars will be led by Aaron Finch and the Urbanrisers Hyderabad will be led by Suresh Raina.
