Gurkeerat Singh Mann made a strong partnership with captain Suresh Raina played aggressively in the first 10 overs. After 10 overs Urbanrisers Hyderabad scored 83/2. But Stuart Binny was sent to Golden Duck by Isuru Udana again. Peter Trego plays an impact innings of 36 runs from 20 balls.

As the opening pair did not impact on the scoreboard, within five over India Capitals lost three wickets.
In the middle order, Kevin Pietersen and Ricardo Powell stand a good partnership. Kevin Pietersen delivered a superb performance, securing half century of 77 runs from 48 balls including 6 sixes, 4 fours, and rescuing his team from a precarious position. He displayed a positive attitude right from the beginning of his innings, even in the face of losing wickets.
Richard Powell and Ashley Nurse also made a great partnership in the last wicket, India Capitals scored 186 runs with the loss of 6 wickets. Chris Mpofu took two wickets. Peter Trego, Tino Best and Pawan Suyal each got 1 wicket. Urbanrisers Hyderabad beat India Capitals by 3 wickets.
