Josh Philippe and James Vince started decently without losing wickets but later on Josh Philippe accelerate the innings. J Vince playing 9 runs, dismissed by M Kuhnemann, then Kurtis Patterson also removed by M Kuhnemann.

Josh Philippe and Moises Henriques formed a crucial partnership. Despite having wickets in hand to accelerate later on, they faced a setback, losing 4 wickets for 13 runs after a good foundation set by Philippe and Henriques.

Ben Edwards and the lower order batsman managed to score some valuable runs, pushing the total of 141/8. The Sydney Sixers are a bit short of their target, but they have a reasonably competitive total to defend.

M Kuhnemann and Paul Walter each secure two wickets, and the rest of the bowlers took one wicket each. Michael Neser did not take any wicket.

After 12 over, rain interrupted the game, as per the DLS (Duckworth-Lewis-Stern) method, the Heat are ahead on the par score. The DLS par score is 101, and the Brisbane Heat ahead of 3 runs.

The crucial boundary from Walter just before the match interruption played a significant role in securing their win. Two boundaries in that over sealed the victory for the Heat. The Brisbane Heat emerge victorious by 3 runs.

Jack Edwards, Sean Abbott, Sean Abbott, and Ben Dwarshuis each secured one wicket but that was not sufficient for Sydney Sixers win.

With this win, the Brisbane Heat maintain an unbeaten record this season, while the Sydney Sixers remain in 2nd place after consecutive losses.
