Namibia’s top order provided solid starts, with Smit’s aggressive 40 runs. Amal Rajeevan was the main contributor in the run chase with 41 runs from 45 balls. Tanzania was restricted to 99 for six. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will be assigned to two groups containing four each in the Super 8 stage. This stage will be played in a single round-robin format, and the top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

Semi-finals

The top two qualifying teams of each group will then advance to the knockout stage.
