India Innings
Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone with an aggressive start in the first over. But unfortunately, he got out by Jason Behrendorff. Both Jaiswal and Kishan departed without contributing much as India were rocked early.
However, the partnership between SKY and Ruturaj added 57 runs, providing stability. After the captain’s departure, Ruturaj assumed control and showcased a remarkable shift in momentum, achieving his first T20 International century with an unbeaten 123 runs off just 57 balls. Tilak Varma also hit some boundaries with Rituraj.
Ruturaj’s attack in the 18th over, where Hardie gave 25 runs, and Maxwell’s final over, yielding 30 runs, India posted another challenging total. Ruturaj’s stellar performance has brought India to score 222/3, although chasing 223 won’t be a simple task.

Travis Head and Aaron Hardie provided a quick start to Australia. Both of them showed an incredible batting performance, especially World Cup hero Travis Head played drastically. Only scoring 16 runs, Aaron Hardie was dismissed by Arshdeep Singh. Travis Head played superbly and scored 35 runs from 18 balls, Josh Inglis also struggled with the bat, lbw by Ravi Bishnoi. Australia has lost three wickets, but these three players are too dangerous, India takes back-to-back wickets. Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Tim David, and sent to golden duck!
Maxwell showcased his unique abilities once again. He sustained the momentum, and Australia maintained control of the run chase. Matthew Wade played a crucial role towards the end, and Maxwell reached his century in the last over.
