Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy from Rohit Sharma for Mumbai Indians franchise ahead of IPL 2024. Aakash Chopra said, that the captaincy could have been a segment of Hardik Pandya’s trade to the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians have officially named all-rounder Hardik Pandya as their new captain for the upcoming 2024 IPL season. Reports suggest that Rohit Sharma will be absent from IPL 2024 unless he is traded out of the Mumbai Indians.
