Bishnoi bowled in Second Super Over: In the second Super Over against Afghanistan both Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan were prepared to bowl but in last moment captain Rohit Sharma handed over the ball to leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on January 17.

So, the match tied and to finalise the match Super Over started.

Rahul Dravid head coach of India said in the post-match press conference, “it was Rohit’s idea to give the ball to Ravi Bishnoi. No gimmicks, no strategy, just a simple decision in the end. I think when Rohit went with Bishnoi, he is with his gut feeling. I think he felt that the spinner had a chance to take two wickets. I think it was really good gut call from Rohit, to go for wickets ”
