Afghanistan Innings

Afghanistan has posted its highest T20I score against India, but according to the pitch conditions, it may not prove to be sufficient. Afghanistan’s opening batsmen had a strong start, and the partnership was broken with the early introduction of Ravi Bishnoi. Gulbadin Naib contributed a powerful innings of 57 runs, featuring 5 fours and 4 sixes, putting Afghanistan in a favorable position. Shivam Dube dismissed Azmatullah Omarzai in his initial over.

However, Axar Patel dismissed Gulbadin Naib in his last over. After Gulbadin Naib’s wicket, the momentum slowed down as the new batsmen struggled to settle. Somehow Mujeeb helped Afghanistan reach this total, preventing an earlier collapse.

For India, Axar Patel played another impressive performance, while Ravi Bishnoi, though a little bit expensive, but managed to take two crucial wickets. Arshdeep demonstrated his proficiency in death overs by finishing with figures of 3/32 after going wicketless in the initial spell.
