Gujarat Giants delivered an incredible batting performance at Dehradun, and beat Hyderabad by an epic clash win. Chris Gayle and Jacques Kallis initiated the proceedings for Gujarat Giants. Chris Mpofu dismissed Kallis in the third over.
Then Rechard Levi and Chris Gayle smashing boundaries in the powerplay. Richard Levi was departed by Stuart Binny after scoring 49 runs in 19 balls. Gujarat Giants developed this strategy to play aggressively in the first 10 overs.
Again, Chris Gayle’s partnership with Kevin O Brien rebuilding the score before the wicket fell. They consistently scored boundaries, maintaining the momentum. The Universe Boss Gayle got out by Stuart Binny in just 29. After the First 10 over Gujarat Giants scored 103/2.
Dhruv Raval, along with Rajat Bhatia, has driven Gujarat to a commendable finishing touch, pushing the total 193/5 in their first innings. URH requires 194 runs to secure victory in the contest.
Stuart Binny bagged two wickets. Mpofu, Jerome Taylor, and Bishoo each got one wicket.

S Sreesanth’s impactful performance began with a wicket off his very second ball, his exceptional seam bowling, resulted in the dismissal of URH opener Martin Guptill. Dwayne Smith’s half-century, Urbanrisers Hyderabad build on their brilliant start. Peter Trego played a special innings, scoring 59 runs just in 25 balls including 4 sixes and 7 fours.
Prasanna took the wicket of Smith and Peter Trego was removed by S Sreesanth. Captain Suresh Raina was removed by S Benn. Stuart Binny started well but couldn’t convert it into a big innings, as he was dismissed by S Benn.
Despite Dwayne Smith and Peter Trego’s impressive fifties for URH, their attempts proved insufficient in chasing the formidable target of 193 runs set by GGT.
S Sreesanth played a pivotal role by removing dangerous batters Peter Trego and Martin Guptill. Seekkuge Prasanna got two wickets. Rayad Emrit, Sarabjit Ladda, and Seekkuge Prasanna each take one wicket.
