Gill reaches his first fifty of the season, scoring 89 runs off 48 balls, dominating once again in Ahmedabad and batting throughout the innings.
They started decently, with Kane Williamson finishing the powerplay strongly, but lost momentum as Harpreet Brar dismissed him.
Gill and Sudharsan formed a crucial partnership. Sai Sudharsan started well, hitting 6 fours and contributing 33 runs, but fell victim to Harshal Patel.
Meanwhile, Gill accelerated, and Rahul Tewatia provided a brilliant finish against PBKS. Gujarat Titans scored a total of 199/4, with Rabada picking up two wickets, and except for the last two balls of his spell, Arshdeep bowled well. Harshal Patel and Harpreet Brar each claimed one wicket.
GT posts a competitive score of 199 runs on a good batting surface, with Gill leading the way with an unbeaten 89, well-supported by Sudharsan and Tewatia.

Shashank Singh shines with a memorable knock! Despite being relatively unknown, Shashank play with a superb temperament under pressure and nerves of steel.
Dhawan falls early to Umesh, but quick cameos from Bairstow and Prabhsimran keep the required run-rate manageable. However, a brilliant spell from Noor changes the game’s momentum as he dismisses both of them quickly. Sam Curran fails to make an impact as he dismissed by Azmatullah.
Shashank, on the other hand, continues to play brilliantly, scoring crucial runs to keep his team in the chase. Jitesh hits two consecutive maximums off Rashid but gets out to a full-toss soon after. Then Ashutosh Sharma contributes with a quick 31 off 17 balls, supporting Shashank perfectly.
Nalkande dismisses Ashutosh with his first delivery, but Shashank remains calm and guides his team to victory with a ball to spare.
Noor Ahmad claimed two wickets while Azmatullah Omarzai, Umesh Yadav, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, Darshan Nalkande each secured one wicket.
