Theekshana claims Ramandeep’s wicket for 13 in the 11th over. Jadeja concludes his spell with figures of 3/18, while Theekshana finishes with figures of 1/28, marking an impressive comeback for CSK.
Despite KKR being 50/1 after five overs and the pitch initially showing no signs of difficulty, Jadeja’s entry changes the game’s dynamics. Three quick wickets alter the pitch dramatically, favoring spinners and forcing Mustafizur to resort to fast off-spin towards the end.
KKR batters struggle to find momentum. Shreyas Iyer manages to score 34 off 32 balls. KKR managed to score 137/9.

CSK had no trouble chasing, knowing they could afford to pace themselves since the target wasn’t daunting.
This luxury was absent for KKR, who had to adapt to the conditions on the fly, unsure of what score would be competitive. Unlike previous matches at this venue, the pitch wasn’t conducive to high scores of 180-200, making ball-striking challenging.
However, these conditions suited Ruturaj Gaikwad perfectly, allowing him to take his time and rely on timing rather than power. With dew on the outfield adding to their advantage, CSK comfortably cruised to victory without much exertion, putting an end to KKR’s unbeaten streak in the tournament.
