Punjab Kings won their first and last matches from DC in Chandigarh and GT in Ahmedabad but would back to their home ground Chandigarh for their third win.
Sunrisers Hyderabad showcased their batting strength against Mumbai Indians posting a total of 277/3. In their last match, SRH secured a convincing 6-wicket victory over CSK in Hyderabad. However, they faced defeats in their other two matches against KKR at Eden Gardens and GT in Ahmedabad.

Despite losing three wickets within the powerplay for the first time, Sunrisers Hyderabad recovered as Nitish Reddy played a superb knock. He initially started slow but accelerated as the innings progressed, forming a 50+ partnership with Samad. Arshdeep dismisses both Head and Markram in the same over.
However, a flurry of wickets after the 16th over disrupted their momentum. Shahbaz managed to hit a couple of boundaries in the 19th over, and a six off the last ball from Unadkat pushed them past 180. Nitish achieved his maiden IPL fifty. SRH’s aggressive batting approach helps them reach a respectable total of 182/9.
Arshdeep was the standout bowler, claiming a four-wicket haul with two wickets each in his second and third overs. Harshal Patel and Sam Curran also supported him well taking two wickets each. Rabada secured only one wicket.

Despite PBKS’ fragile batting lineup, Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivers an excellent first over. Cummins dismisses Bairstow for a duck. Bhuvneshwar claims the wicket of Dhawan, who departs for 14 runs. Natarajan returns to the attack and removes Sam Curran.
Punjab Kings losing 3 wickets on the first 6 overs, ultimately cost the match. Sikandar Raza and Shashank Singh looked dangerous in the middle order.
With 67 runs needed off the last four overs. However, the heroes from Punjab’s previous game put up a brave fight. Shashank Singh hits three boundaries in an over off Bhuvneshwar, while his partner Ashutosh Sharma strikes back-to-back fours off Cummins. With 39 needed off the last two overs, Natarajan concedes a couple of boundaries but then bowls a couple of yorkers to give away just 10 runs off the penultimate over.
The final over is eventful, with three dropped catches (two of them resulting in sixes), three wides, and three sixes. Shashank and Ashutosh played a great innings, contributing consistently to PBKS.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed two wickets while all other bowler secured one wicket each.
