Sunrisers Hyderabad showcased their batting strength against Mumbai Indians posting a total of 277/3. In their last match, SRH secured a convincing 6-wicket victory over CSK in Hyderabad. However, they faced defeats in their other two matches against KKR at Eden Gardens and GT in Ahmedabad.

RR opted to bowl first, and their bowlers do their work very well. Atharva Taide and Prabhsimran depart early, with Bairstow struggling to find his rhythm. Eventually, Bairstow mistimes one against Maharaj. RR’s bowlers maintain pressure, especially the spinners in the middle overs.
Chahal and Maharaj bowl exceptionally well, picking up wickets at regular intervals. PBKS fails to build momentum, although Jitesh and Livingstone make some contributions. The real impact comes from Impact player Ashutosh Sharma, who helps PBKS approach the 150-run mark. The pitch differs significantly from the previous games, and RR remains confident, but early wickets could make things interesting.
Maharaj claims his first IPL wicket by dismissing Bairstow. He strikes again by getting rid of Sam Curran. PBKS made a good recovery towards the end, but the earlier damage was significant.

Despite the manageable asking rate, Rabada’s two quick wickets (Jaiswal and Samson) tighten the game. Punjab’s bowlers create pressure, leading to a tense situation. When Jurel is caught at deep midwicket, RR needs 33 runs in 16 balls.
The Caribbean big hitters accelerate, scoring 18 runs in 4 balls, but Powell falls to a short ball from Curran. With 10 runs needed off the final over, Arshdeep bowls two yorkers, but Hetmyer stays calm, hitting two sixes to secure victory for RR.
