He has primarily served as an impact substitute for CSK, often stepping in to bat in the middle order in place of a bowler or being substituted by one.
Rayudu ranks among the top ten most experienced IPL cricketers and is the second-most successful IPL player with six IPL titles. The first is Rohit Sharma, with six titles, who has won the IPL more times.

Rizvi, known for his explosive batting in the middle order, is often called a right-handed version of Suresh Raina. He began his cricket journey in 2011 at the Gandhibagh Academy in Meerut and also played for India at the Under-19 level and debuted in the Ranji Trophy at the age of 16 in 2020, although he didn’t have many opportunities to play.
In the UPT20 league last year, Rizvi smashed 455 runs in 10 matches at an average of over 50. Throughout the tournament, he also hammered two centuries and a half-century, grabbing everyone’s attention.
Rizvi made his first-class debut representing Uttar Pradesh in January 2020 at the age of 16, in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy. He then made his List A debut in December 2021 for Uttar Pradesh in the 2021-22 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Rizvi said to ESPN, “People compare me with Raina because of the way I play,” Rizvi says. “If people call me a right-handed Raina then I’ll aim to do what he did for CSK. Even I love fielding like him. I’ll give it my everything.”
