Trent Boult showcased his impact in his first over, dismissing Rohit for a golden duck. Boult also dismissed two other batsmen Naman Dhir and Dewald Brevis to duck. Ishan Kishan kickstarts his innings with a six but could not convert into a big innings. MI faces trouble as Ishan Kishan departs for 16, caught behind by Nandre Burger. Boult took two wickets in the first over and another in the third.
Mumbai Indians reach the 100-run mark in the 15th over. Despite a disappointing batting performance, credit goes to the Royals’ trio – Boult, Burger, and Chahal – who kept the pressure on.
Although there was a brief recovery with Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma’s partnership, Chahal’s crucial wickets of Tilak Verma bringing an end to his innings and also derailed MI’s progress, reducing them from 76 for 4 to 114 for 9. Hardik’s aggressive 34 off 21 balls ends as Ashwin dismissed him. RR restricted Mumbai Indians to a total of just 125/9.
Boult and Chahal each secured three wickets each. Nandre Burger claimed two wickets while Avesh Khan took one wicket only.

Rajasthan easily chases down the target 126 runs. Once again, Riyan Parag who shone in the previous match, has started brightly with the bat, leading Rajasthan to victory with more than 4 overs to spare. The game was set up by their bowlers.
In response, Jaiswal’s poor form continues as he chips one straight to the covers. Samson falls cheaply, chopping onto his stumps against Madhwal, who claims Buttler’s wicket as well. RR wobbles at 48/3, but the partnership between Ashwin and Parag stabilizes the innings and guides RR to victory.
