IPL Auction 2024 Know the target player list, the IPL auction is scheduled to take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on December 19, starting at 1 PM IST. This is the first time that the IPL auctions will be taking place outside the country. This is a mini-auction and all the teams already have most of the players. All franchises are expanding their base by purchasing some new players. To further balance the team, next year there is going to be a mega auction in IPL 2025. Before this is the last mini-auction, all the teams will want to ensure here this year that the five players they want in the team for the next 5 years.
A total of 333 players shortlisted for IPL 2024 auction, were unveiled on Sunday, December 11. Among them, 119 are from overseas and 214 are Indian players, including two players are from associate countries.
The total purse available for spending is INR 262.95 Crore. A maximum of 77 slots are available where 30 spots slotted for overseas players. There are 116 capped players, 215 uncapped players and 2 are from associate nations.
