Grand Prairie Stadium is a multifaceted sports venue that opened in May 2008 as QuikTrip Park. From 2008 to 2019, it was the home stadium for the Texas AirHogs of the American Association of Professional Baseball and from 2017 to 2019 it was for the USL League Two soccer team. But this QuikTrip Park was later known as The Ballpark in Grand Prairie.
After the end of AirHogs in 2020, the USA Cricket Board revealed that the ballpark will be transformed into a cricket stadium. American Cricket Enterprises the commercial partner of USA Cricket is set to undergo redevelopment to transform it into a cricket stadium that will capable of hosting both domestic as well as international cricket matches.
With the rising popularity of cricket in North America, the renovations upgraded the infrastructure to meet international cricket standards, so that the stadium to host events like the T20 World Cup 2024 and also serve as the permanent home ground of the USA national cricket team.
